Q: Who is eligible to apply?

A: The applicant must be 62 years of age or disabled.

Q: How much is the rent at Winslow Village I?

A: The rent for a studio ranges between $448 - $519 and a bedroom $554 - $641 based on income. We also have units subsidized under Section 8 so the rent for them is 30% of your adjusted income

Q: How much is the rent at Winslow Village II?

A: Winslow II is subsidized under Section 8 so the rent is 30% of your adjusted income

Q: Are services provided?

A: We do not provide any services however meals on wheels is available through the Marshfield Council on Aging.

Q: Does the tenant pay utilities?

A: No, heat and electric is included in the rent. The tenant is only responsible for their phone and TV/cable.

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: Yes you are permitted 1 small pet that must weigh less than 20 lbs.

Q: Is this a non-smoking property?

Yes, all the buildings are smoke free and you are permitted to smoke outside the buildings.

Q: What is the maximum income allowed?

A: The maximum income for an individual at Winslow Village I is $82,950 and $94,800 for a couple. At Winslow Village II the max for an individual is $51,950 and $59,400 for a couple. The income limits are set by HUD and change annually.

Q: How long is the waiting time for a unit?

A: The waiting time is approximately 3 - 5 years depending on the type of unit requested. We recommend you call each property every few months to get an update on your status. You also need to keep us updated on any changes to your contact information.

Q: Are there laundry facilities in the units?

A: No, each property has one laundry room in the main building.
